Our practice is rooted in engagement. We want our audience to experience unforgettable moments and feel true connection with the artists. Some of our performances and exhibitions welcome participation from our guests. This is the way of bridging the voices, creating space where everyone feels included, and where every interaction becomes meaningful.

Throughout the years, we welcomed actors, theatre groups, performance artists and musicians to create unique programme that stays forever in the hearts of our audience. We want our programme to encourage exploration, experimentation, and play.

kollectiv has become a home for drag performance showcasing new talent and offering safe and inclusive space for our queer community.

We host bi-weekly Sonic Space events where audience is encouraged to join in sonic exploration of physical space with artists Randolph Matthews and Simon Lambert.

We host plays and rehearsed readings that bring attention to current matters. We celebrated local heroes like Derek Jarman, Sarah Baker or Jabez Wolff. We work closely with our audience to create the programme it truly cares about.

2025 marks beginning of new collaborations. kollectiv is home to the first solo show of Brazilian-born Folkestone-based artist, Rubiana Maie.

We’re currently working on Live Performance programme with Performance Space.
