Join us in this beautiful and life-affirming encounter with Artistic Director of Strange Cargo, Brigitte Orasinski.
In this talk, Brigitte will share her extensive experience about creating community-based, participatory programme. She will discuss the importance of bringing art to people’s doorsteps, bringing communities together, and creating work that engages, provokes, and ultimately brings joy.
And of course, we’ll hear about Charivari - an annual a vibrant procession of 800 plus people including students from local schools, bands, dancers and giant carnival builds will parade from Folkestone’s historic Stade, to the Leas band stand via the Old High Street and town centre.
Let’s celebrate Strange Cargo’s 30th anniversary together in this special event.
