Last Fridays: Provocations - Sound
Friday 29 August
6pm
Last Fridays is a vibrant, community-led initiative and a key part of the Folkestone Triennial 2025 public programme.
Taking place on the last Friday of each month throughout the Triennial, this series of late openings and special events shines a light on the energy, talent and imagination that makes Folkestone such a creative place to live, work and visit.
At kollectiv, we’re hosting a number of artistic gathering and conversations. Each month, we invite artists working in the same area to share stories about their practice with the audience in an open conversation facilitated by Katie Beton.
SEPTEMBER’S THEME:
SOUND
ARTISTS:
Ruth Canning
Pleistocene Megafauna
TBC
An hour before the event starts, we’ll be screening films documenting the world of invited performance artists.
