A Midsummer's Night Fundraiser

£0.00

Saturday 21 June 7pm

Help Compass Collective set a WORLD RECORD for Refugee Week!

“What an excellent way to celebrate the early hours of the solstice…create a Dream, break a record and raise funds for this incredible charity”. - Toby Jones

On June 21st, Compass Collective will attempt to set a new WORLD RECORD for the most simultaneous table reads / performances of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Come to kollectiv to join local actors joining in with the whole of the UK in simultaneous reading of A Midsummer’s Night Dream. Produced by Matthew Hahn.

Refugee Week is the world’s largest arts & culture festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. Established in 1998 in the UK, this annual global festival aligns with World Refugee Day, celebrated worldwide on June 20th.

This year the theme is “Community as a Superpower”. So let’s show the superpowers of the theatre community, show solidarity with young refugees and asylum seekers and set a world record and raise money for work with young refugees and asylum seekers across the UK.

FREE AND OPEN TO ALL.

All donations will go to Compass Collective - an organisation helping refugees and asylum seekers rebuild their lives.
