Folkestone Performing Arts Company is delighted to announce our continued partnership with the kollectiv through our free Writing for Performance sessions.

As with all of FPAC’s community theatre programmes, everyone is welcome, regardless of writing experience. FPAC encourages anyone with an interest in writing for the stage to give it a go.

Across 10 sessions, participants will respond to writing stimuli, create scratch pieces, share feedback, refine, rehearse and perform new work.

Beginning February 2026, sessions will take place every other Sunday from 3–5pm. These sessions are designed to support the development of playwriting skills while building confidence, fostering connection and supporting personal wellbeing.

Each session is led by an industry practitioner and offers a supportive, collaborative environment in which participants can develop their craft and share work. The programme culminates in a new writing sharing in June, where participants will have the opportunity to see their writing brought to life on stage.
