We are delighted to begin our new series Sunday Morning Music at kollectiv with the exciting young classical guitarist, Arie Dakesian. Born in Beirut to an Armenian family, Arie is undertaking postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Music, although he already has a busy performing schedule and has appeared at St James’s Piccadilly, Royal Albert Hall Kings Place and the Wigmore Hall. In 2024, Arie was selected to be a Tillett Debut Artist and we are very grateful for their support for this concert. His debut album 'Familiarity with Change' was released in 2024.
Arie will perform some of the classic works of the guitar repertoire. Taking us from Spain to Argentina, Armenia to Italy, sunshine is never too far away from this beautiful music.
